Founding a Company? The Thought Never Crossed Our Minds!

Daikido officially launched on December 22, 2016.

But truthfully, starting a company?

We honestly never considered it back then. We had no polished business blueprint, no team of aspiring entrepreneurs, and the notion of "incorporating as a limited company" wasn't even on anyone's five- or ten-year radar.

Yet, that's just life:

the most important things often aren't scheduled; they are the opportunities that life pushes toward you.

Two Part-time Workers Who Built Their Core Strength.

Before the launch, Zen spent a long time building a foundation in the creative field.

During his years as a part-time worker, he sharpened his visual skills, critical perspective, and patience. All of his dedication was hidden in the details that no one saw.

Peggy excels at operations and has managed a company solo before, but her roots are still in the creative advertising industry, a world where you frantically revise pitches late at night and fight for every second on the pitch floor. This background allows her to understand a team's true needs, utilizing both the creator's ear and the manager's eye.

Neither Zen nor Peggy's life trajectory was originally aimed at "entrepreneurship." Until one day, an opportunity presented itself.

Supported by Industry Heavyweights Who Believed In Us.

At a certain point while still working as a creative, Zen was encouraged by Starlux Airline Chairman K.W. Chang and the then-Head of Public Relations, Mr. K.W. Nieh.

They saw an unformed but highly promising potential and told us repeatedly:

"You two should have your own creative agency."

That one sentence held more power than any proposal. That deep trust became Daikido's true beginning, securing Starlux Airline as our very first client.

Therefore, Daikido doesn't exist because "we decided to start a company," but because "someone saw the value in our creativity," and we chose to embrace that responsibility, deliver on it, and strive for excellence.

A Creative Philosophy That Defies The Times.

Since day one, Daikido has consistently placed "integrity" at the core of our brand.

We always approach challenges from the client's point of view, responding with expertise and sincerity. After all, if creativity doesn't solve a problem, it's just window dressing.

Peggy's operational background makes it crystal clear: insight, creativity, execution, and management are not four separate tasks, but a continuous process moving toward the same goal.

Hence, regardless of a project's scale or budget, every collaboration signifies responsibility, commitment, and respect. It is a shared journey of growth with our clients.

Who says momentary brilliance cannot leave behind a lasting ethos?!

Daikido has always maintained that:

Creativity is a professional skill, but attitude is a deliberate choice; the work itself will be noticed, but the spirit behind it is what endures.

That is the essence of Daikido. And that is the reason we are still here today.
