For children living on outlying islands, baseball is more than a sport. It is a window toward dreams. Yet limited resources, a lack of coaches, and insufficient equipment often place those dreams farther out of reach than for children on the main island.

For many years, TransGlobe Life Insurance has quietly taken on this responsibility. Bringing dreams closer to where children are.

Every year, players and coaches are invited to travel to the islands in person. With patience and professionalism, they guide children through batting, base running, and fielding. Beyond coaching, complete sets of equipment and gear are provided so that every child can fully commit to practice and competition.

Every ball thrown and every swing taken represents a step closer to a dream. Throughout it all, TransGlobe Life Insurance stands nearby, offering steady and unseen support.

To ensure these efforts would not be forgotten, and to allow children to look back on their own journeys, TransGlobe Life Insurance collaborated with Daikido Idea Collective to create the documentary series My Baseball Dream.

The camera captures every moment of sweat, laughter, disappointment, and resilience. From Fight On. The Battle at Taiwu Mountain to the Kinmen series, the films document coaches who give selflessly and children who push past their limits again and again.

These records are more than moving images. They are proof of effort and a tangible trace of dreams that deserve to be preserved.
