The design of the STARLUX Airlines membership card did not begin with the idea of a card. It began with the idea of a journey.

We asked ourselves a simple question. Could a membership card represent more than status. Could it become a symbol of departure, like stepping into another universe.

Thus, the concept arose from here.

Before every flight, passengers pass through a jet bridge. In science fiction films, astronauts also pass through a corridor before launch. Both moments carry the same sense of anticipation and the unknown. We decided to capture that moment of crossing a threshold and entering another world, and condense it into a single card.

The real challenge began when the concept had to become reality.

At the center of the design was the North Star. It was not printed, nor laser engraved. Those methods felt too common and lacked the sense of value we were seeking. What we wanted was a star that could truly transmit light.

When the card is lifted, light passes through the fully hollowed North Star and appears to shimmer in the hand. To achieve this while maintaining structural stability, the entire card had to be made of metal. It was precision machined with steel cutting tools, carved layer by layer and polished stroke by stroke.

Every depth had to be exact. Every edge had to remain perfectly stable. This was not the manufacturing process of a typical membership card. It was closer to the making of a miniature metal craft.

At first glance, the card appears to say only one word. STARLUX.

But behind it lies a belief that even the smallest details, when executed with care, can carry an imagination that reaches far beyond the surface.
